"Helpful and informative"

About: Children and Young People Services / Autism Services

(as a parent/guardian),

RecentlyI attended the first step of my daughter's Autism assessment journey virtually, done by The Oaks Armagh Autism Team, and the presentation was very helpful and informative about the process of the assessment. The staff that took the session Lynn, May and Catherine were great at answering all questions that parents had and it gave us great understanding of how long the time frame of assessment will be and how the assessment is carried out. It seems like such a long time since she was first referred and I am so grateful we are now at this stage. Thank you Autism team for all your great work 😊

Thank you 'EM01' for your feedback on the Autism Assessment Journey. I am delighted to hear that the presentation was helpful and informative. We know it can be a difficult time supporting your child/young person through an assessment and we want parents/carers to have knowledge and understanding about the process and the different stages it entails. I will be sure to inform the team, specifically Lynn, May and Catherine of your positive feedback.
