"The professionalism, kindness and efficiency"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Assessment Unit

(as a relative),

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to the team involved in supporting my 91-year-old mother recently.

In particular, I would like to recognise Nurses Jade and Ashley, as well as Dr. Kathleen at the GP Assessment Unit. The care, patience, and compassion they demonstrated went well beyond what could reasonably be expected of them. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they took the time to ensure my mother fully understood what was happening—even if that meant repeating information more than once.

The professionalism, kindness, and efficiency shown at every stage were truly first class. Thanks to their efforts, my mother is now receiving the treatment she deserves.

Once again, please pass on my sincere gratitude to all involved. They are a credit both to themselves and to the NHS.

Dear Focus girl

Thank you for taking the time to share your mother’s experience within the Emergency Assessment Unit. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

It’s heartening to hear that Jade, Ashley, and Dr Kathleen provided care with such professionalism, kindness, patience, and compassion. I will make sure your lovely feedback is passed on to the team.

Wishing your mother a full recovery.

Kind Regards

Shirley-anne
