"A visit to A&E after a fall"

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I attended the A&E Department at the Diana, Princess of Wales hospital after I had a fall the day before.

My left arm was very painful, I couldn't lift it and I thought it would be best to get it checked out because I was going on holiday the next day and did not want to fly if I had an issue. The staff were fantastic from the Triage nurse, the Doctor and X-Ray staff who were all very efficient and professional. The doctor was brilliant and made me feel at ease and after checking the x-rays, he explained to me the condition of my arm, how I needed to exercise it to get the feeling back and how to dress the wound on my forearm. I was only 42 minutes from walking into the hospital to working out.

What a brilliant team and representative of the hard work and excellent service provided I am sure throughout this hospital. A hospital to be proud of.
