"Thankful for the quality of care"

I want to acknowledge and thank the fantastic staff who supported me through the labour and delivery of my perfect baby boy. 

The delivery suite staff were supportive to myself and my husband, professional and ensured my baby and I were kept safe during my induction, labour, emergency c-section and recovery.

The day shift midwives Aine (thank you for coming to see me on the ward), Sinead and Emma-Jo. The night shift midwives Cora (who never took her attention from me and the monitor), Shivaun (such a calm presence during labour), as well as the gowned and hair capped midwives in the theatre (I didn’t get their names). The following day shift midwife Natalie. 

Dr Saha, Dr Sharma and the obstetric doctors who were on duty that night (who ensured we were fully informed about what was happening throughout labour and the need for emergency surgery). Anaesthetic doctor Dr Gishkori (who kept me pain free during my labour and surgery). The doctor who checked my son after delivery (I didn’t get their name). 

My husband and I are thankful for the quality care  received and the highly skilled and knowledgeable staff in Daisy Hill.
