"Waiting for an MRI"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a service user),

Knee became sore back in August 2023 had X rays. Told it was broken, then 3 weeks later told not broken. I've had severe pain since then. Been to see an orthopaedic physio and they recommended an MRI scan still waiting. I feel absolutely drained every day going to work it's really taking everything I've got to get out my bed.

Dear Caz1963,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Monklands, Trauma and Orthopaedics.

I am sorry to hear about your knee injury and the ongoing impact that is having on your day to day life.

Please could I ask that you contact our patient affairs team, if you have not already done so, so that we can gather further information, investigate and provide you with a personal response?

Best Wishes,

Jenni
