"What a great service"

About: Mid-Ulster Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My son with Down's Syndrome fell at school and hurt his right knee.

Rang phone first. Receptionist & Triage Nurse very pleasant and helpful then seen by Sean ANP and x-rayed requested and taken by a very pleasant radiographer. Splint applied by two lovely Nurses with follow -up arranged next week with Consultant .

What a great service with a very caring team of professionals. This valuable service saved us a long wait in ED and prevented us from adding further burden on the already overpopulated ED services

Hello Tm115

My name is Victoria McCrory and I am the Assistant Clinical Services Manager for MUH MIU. I am sorry to hear that your son recently sustained an injury and had to attend the unit for further assessment and treatment.

I am glad to hear that whilst attending the unit both yourself and your son had a positive experience, from arrival, through triage and through to review arrangements being confirmed.

I will ensure your positive feedback is shared with all staff in the minor injuries unit and I know it will be greatly appreciated. Positive feedback helps remind staff of the fabulous care they deliver and helps boost staff morale.

I hope your son continues to make a strong recovery.

Yours sincerely

Victoria McCrory
