"Excellent staff that offered feeding support step by step"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Neonatal Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

Pre term identical twins born at 36 weeks.

-both babies in postnatal ward, not feeding

-both babies took downstairs to Neonatal on Thursday morning.

- excellent staff that offered feeding support step by step to mum and dad.

- Staff provided regularly updates regarding feeding progress and tips on how to feed/manage preterm babies.

- both our babies were well cared for and we simply couldn't have brought our baby girls home without their help and support over the past 8 days.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give this lovely feedback regarding your experience when your daughters were admitted to our Neonatal Unit in Craigavon Hospital. I know that it can be a stressful experience when parents have a baby who has difficulty feeding, and having two must have been very difficult for you.

I am very happy to hear, however, that things worked out well and you have been able to take your girls home after receiving the support and advice from our staff in the neonatal unit.

I wish you and your family all the best, David

We are pleased to know you felt supported and kept up to date with the progress your twins were making.
