"Excellent care"

I would like to pass on the excellent care that I received at Gynaecologist day centre at my local hospital, Inverclyde Riyal Hospital Greenock.

I have been struggling by with Gynaecology issues for over ten years . I had a pessary ring put in at another hospital where my husband and I had to take two buses to get to. The ring came out about 3 months ago and I was in agony.

So I telephoned Inverclyde Hospital and was put in contact with an angel, Carol staff nurse at the centre along with Belinda HCA. Who told me to come up to the centre which is only 10 mins in the car from my house.

When I arrived I told the girls my story, they inserted the ring and I had immediate relief . It came out on the Monday and the Staff nurse Carol telephoned me back as it is a very busy clinic and told me to come up on the Wednesday.

The treatment I received from them both was exceptional and given a card with telephone number if I needed to go back up. I was treated with compassion and care and I felt for the first time in over 10 years I was listened to . Thank you both so much .
