I have accompanied my husband to several appointments at St Paul’s Unit with specialist optician David, and I feel compelled to share just how exceptional his care has been. From the very first visit, it was clear that David embodies the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy. As a healthcare professional myself, I have interacted with many healthcare professionals over the years, but I have seldom encountered someone who demonstrates such expertise, compassion, and genuine attentiveness.

What stands out most is the way he goes above and beyond in every interaction. He takes the time to really listen, values the opinions of both patients and their families, and ensures that no concern is left unaddressed. His explanations are always clear and thorough which not only helps patients feel informed but also reassured.

Beyond his clinical skill, David’s kindness and consideration are evident in the way he makes people feel at ease. It is obvious that he genuinely cares about the people he is treating, and that makes an enormous difference.
