About: Adult Health And Social Care Services / Dietetics and Nutrition University Hospital Hairmyres / Medical/Gastroenterology (Ward 11)

(as the patient),

I visited to get advice for gastro problems since I had covid pneumonia in December 2021-Jan 2022. I got solid advice from dietician Marika, who listened and said there is evidence that there is a condition known as post infection IBS! I took part in Monklands covid 19 study too, gathering evidence for all post infection results on people who had to spend a spell in hospital because of the infection. I hope there will be therapies and medication for post covid, also known as long covid one day? But Hairmyres have the most caring staff IMO? Thank you for your advice, Marika!
