"ENT appointment"

About: Outpatients Department / Clinic 4 - Diabetic,Neurology,ENT

(as the patient),

I had an appointment a few months ago, which initially went poorly and I was upset when I came out. This was noticed by a member of staff, Mr Glenn who took me aside and showed such care and kindness to me as I got very upset, he called the Sister Wendy and she also was so kind.

I was later seen by Mr Zygan, a true gentleman. I had another follow up appointment today and to say my legs were shaking was an understatement. I was met by Mr Glenn on arrival and was so glad to see him, he reassured me, kind and compassionate showed to me by both him and Mr Zygan, also credit to the sister Wendy, who checked in with me on departure.

What a difference today was, thank you all so much.

Good Afternoon Ad07,

My name is Emma, I am the Deputy Sister in the Outpatients Department.

Firstly can I thank you for your feedback and I hope that you are well following your appointment.

It is much appreciated that you have acknowledged the positive experience that you have had while attending the department despite your initial encounter not being so pleasant.

It is lovely to hear how you praised the staff and I will make sure they are aware of your care opinion. It is a lovely when staff are recognized for the care and compassion they continually show in their working day and reminds us all of the impact kindness will have on our patients.

It is my hope that all future appointments will be of a similar standard.
