"Care for the elderly"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

My mother - who is in her late 80s -  spent 28 hours on a trolley in corridor others more elderly 50+ hours on trolley in corrido. In our experience,  this hospital represents a danger to life for elderly people!

Then when admitted to a ward care (or no care) got considerably worse! Not just for my mother but to all other elderly patients! Most patients suffered from dementia and were very frail but these serious conditions were mostly ignored by some nurses and doctors.

Most of the patients already suffering from hearing problems found it almost impossible to understand what nurses said due to very heavy accents and were therefore left confused and frightened not knowing what was happening!

I witnessed too many serious events to list here.
