Today I attended a follow up appointment with the Community Dietitian, based at Shantallow Health Cente. This is my second appointment with Aisling and once again I found her be both very helpful and supportive of my ongoing health issues, relating back to my oesophageal cancer!
As a health professional Aisling listened intently to what I had to say about my eating habits and she was forthcoming in offering me some advice and tips and she has very kindly agreed to report back to both my GP and my “Upper GI Specialist” who is proposing to carry out a new procedure in the foreseeable future!
Having someone like Aisling, who listens intently to me when I talk to her about my health related issues and concerns is both very reassuring and very important!
