"Extremely pleasant & thorough"

About: Lochaber (Belford) Hospital / Accident & Emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

On holiday near Arisaig, I unfortunately had a TIA in the early hours.  The ambulance arrived very quickly & the 2 ambulance men were very kind & efficient.

On arrival at The Belford A&E, I received excellent care. Dr Hills was extremely pleasant & thorough, explaining everything very clearly & listening to what we said.  I am most grateful for his care & expertise.

And a big thank you to the lovely nurse who looked after me & produced a heated blanket when I was so cold.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I see that your care involved several services and I’m responding on behalf of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

I’m pleased to hear that the ambulance crew were kind and efficient during what must have been a worrying time. Your appreciation for the care you received at The Belford A&E, especially from Dr Hills and the nursing staff, is wonderful to read. I will ensure your thanks are passed on to our team.

If you are happy to do so, please send the date, time and address of your call out to sas.feedback@nhs.scot, along with your Care Opinion username. This will help us share your kind words directly with the crew involved.

Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback.

Warm wishes,

Marie
