"Now able to do some things I didn’t think I ever would"

Having experienced months of relentless back and leg pain, I was finally referred to Advanced Practice Physiotherapist , Morven. I hadn’t managed to achieve much relief from my initial symptoms, and actually developed more, so I was keen to see if someone would be able to help me. 

Morven was so lovely and listened to me, and I felt she understood the symptoms and difficulties I was having.  She gave me an exercise programme to follow and advice on medication for pain relief and on managing other areas of my life that could be contributing to it. After an MRI pin pointed the exact problem areas, she worked with me and I have now reached a point that I didn’t think I would.

I am now able to do some things I didn’t think I ever would again, and my pain is well managed. I understand my limitations and that I can expect to have good and bad periods in the long term, but now I have the knowledge to help myself too, and know that should things get too much for me, I can get back in touch. 

Morven was always so respectful, kind and I know that she genuinely cares about your recovery. She has helped me reach a point that a year ago I thought I’d never be. I am truly grateful to her for her patience, support and skill. Thank you Morven xxx
