"The session was very helpful and informative"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I was a little anxious about my hip operation, the session was very helpful and informative. We were given crutches and shown how to use them. After various medical staff went through the whole procedure which helped my wife and son who accompanied me to the session understand what to expect and where they can assist me. Lots of items were explained including pain relief, anaesthesia, who the staff were and useful phone numbers etc.
