"Occupational therapy - no help"

About: Omagh Primary Care Complex / Occupational Therapy

(as a relative),

My husband had a very bad accident in January and was admitted into Ulster hospital, where he had to have a below the knee amputation. He came home in February and we were supposed to have a visit from the Occupational Team at Omagh Hospital to ensure the home was a safe environment for him. This did not happen and I had to chase this up myself.

I have been speaking with  a member of that team and we have had a commode supplied, however we have no downstairs bathroom or washing facilitation. I was told that they would speak with to the team manager and discuss next steps. This was in March and I have still not heard anything. I have rung numerous times but it is always an answering machine and no one has returned my calls.

I am ill myself and I feel like I have no help at all, it is frustrating, worrying and I am at my wits end.
