I’ve just met Joy and her team at the day centre for the first time with my mum. Joy instantly made us feel at ease with this new support. She explained everything about the day centre and confirmed designated days for help my mum. I will be leaving today very safe in the knowledge that my mum is in the best place possible at this stage in her Alzheimer’s journey. A secure facility is the best one for my mum as she would try and go out the doors in our house with no clothes on in the middle of the night etc. This was a big reason as to why we chose this facility with our social worker Lucie.
