About: Forensic mental health / Carers Families and Visitors (Forensic Services) The Hatherton Centre (Stafford Medium Secure Unit) / Ashley House

(as a parent/guardian),

Our one and only son admitted in the hospital  due to mental health illness. The Ashley House is very friendly and they are so supportive. My sons social worker (not mentioning the name due to confidentiality)she even came to our house to give a emotional and psychological reassurance during the difficult situation. The staff from the ward giving me a day to day updates about how he and all. Thank you all for looking after him to bring him a better young man.

Thank you for taking the time to post a story about your experience of the care and support from Ashley House.

It was positive for the staff team to hear what is going well.

It was good to hear how well the communication with the team has been. The staff will continue to work with you and your son to progress his recovery and journey.
