"Excellent standards of ongoing care"

My dad has sadly become very unwell at the beginning of this year. Before his diagnosis, he was  initially seen by his GP, Dr. Mistry, who is based at the Chellaston Medical Centre, Derby, this meeting was the beginning of one of the hardest times we have been through as a family.

Dr. Mistry, from the first appointment with my Father, has shown deep empathy and compassion towards him and myself during such an emotionally challenging time. He has been incredibly patient and helpful during every appointment and interaction. Nothing ever is too much trouble, we are never rushed during appointments.

Dr Mistry has ensured my father receives continuity of care, he has arranged future appointments with himself when needed. This has removed unnecessary added stress of having to fight for an appointment, this is very much appreciated as my Dad is so so poorly.

Dr.M has a noticeable calm and caring demeanour, he is professional at all times but also very personable which makes my Dad feel comfortable discussing such upsetting, difficult topics, Dr.Mistry is genuinely such a kind Doctor, nothing is ever too much, no feelings are ever disregarded.

He will always explain in detail regarding any queries we may have and he will always reassure us if we have any anxieties that he feels may unwarranted. He communicates clearly, always cares for my Father holistically and has shown my Dad with nothing but dignity and respect at all times. Dr.Mistry has shown perfect integrity during every contact, he sticks to his word, he is reliable and trustworthy. 

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Dr.Mistry for continuously being a wonderful example of a GP with how he is caring for my Dad. He deserves to be acknowledged and recognised for his exceptional standards. We honestly feel lucky to be under his care.
