"Disappointing service"

About: Community Services (AMH) Doncaster CAMHS / Getting Help

(as a parent/guardian),

Support from age 12 until the age of 18: not great support at all. She had so many support workers & had that much counselling then went over to adult mental health. Now still in the same place with no support. She has BPD, she hears voices, she was in the crisis house as she attended a&e wanting to end her life recently, but after that she's still not got any support. Very disappointing service from CAMHS & adult mental health service.

It is clear how much she has been struggling and how hard it has been for you to watch her go through this without feeling adequately supported.

Your feedback highlights some very important issues about continuity of care, especially during the move from children’s to adult services. If you would like to contact us further to help us understand your daughter’s journey, we would love to discuss with you any thoughts or ideas around how we could have better met her needs.
