"Better signage or clearer directions would be helpful"

About: Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership Public Dental Service

(as a service user),

The Parkhead Hub is a modern and much cleaner new health centre under NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The facilities overall are a big improvement.

However, the building can be very busy, and it's not always easy to find your appointment location or the appropriate department. Better signage or clearer directions would be helpful.

It’s also disappointing that although signage states there is a dental practice on the second floor, it is not open or available to the public under NHSGGC. Given the shortage of NHS dentists in the area, it would be beneficial to have an operational dental service in the building.

Hi ShaunB

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the Parkhead Hub. I was pleased to hear that you find the new health centre to be a modern and cleaner environment and that the overall facilities are a significant improvement.

I appreciate your comments about the signage and navigation within the building, and I will ensure your feedback is passed on to the relevant contact for the Parkhead Hub so that it can be considered in any future improvements to wayfinding and accessibility.

Regarding your concerns about dental services, while there is no NHS General Dental Practice within the Parkhead Hub, there are several high street dental practices available in the surrounding Parkhead area. If you are requiring registering with a dentist, please you contact the NHSGGC patient helpline on 0141 201 4209 and press option 2, the team there will be able to assist you in identifying local dental practices accepting NHS patients.

Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

Best Wishes

Catherine
