After surgery just over 2 weeks ago am left with a temporary partial cast and stitches in ankle. According to discharge papers I am to go get stitches out and full cast or boot to be put on broken ankle. Nothing heard after 2.5 weeks so after 2 hours of phone calls to lister to be passed from pillar to post i am getting nowhere. Leg in pain as not fully supported and stitches still in.. been told to go to GP to get him to remove stitches. Hmmm do GPs cut off plaster cast AND recast now??
If not how am I going to support my broken ankle for the next 4 weeks???
