Just wanted to write about my husband's experience of care in the Neurology Department of Queen Elizabeth, Glasgow.
We can only highly commend this department and all its staff. My husband was admitted for planned surgery and throughout the care he received was caring and compassionate.
From Angela and Martin who dealt with him in pre-assessment and the morning of his operation, the theatre staff, anaesthetist Chris, Mr Sutner, Mohammed who did the op, we can only thank them from the bottom of our hearts. They all spent their time ensuring that my husband was kept fully informed and tried to alleviate his anxiety.
Following surgery he was transferred to ward 66 where again the care was fabulous. Emma and Lisa on night duty were very caring and compassionate and considered my husbands diagnosis of PTSD encouraging him to sit with them when he awoke and was distressed. Fabulous care - thank you all so much.
