"Wonderful team"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I was sent to the hospital with suspected appendicitis, but thankfully this wasn’t the case. The wonderful team here kept me feeling reassured. They managed to notice some early stages of fatty liver disease that they were able to let me know about which was a big relief!

Dear Backliner,

Thank you for sharing your recent experience at our Emergency Department. It’s reassuring to hear that the clinical team provided such attentive and compassionate care. Identifying the early signs of fatty liver disease during your visit demonstrates the value of thorough assessment and proactive healthcare and I am also glad to hear that they were able to exclude a diagnosis of apendicitis.

I will share your comments with the team and wish you continued good health.

Best wishes,

Julie.
