My mum was an emergency admittance, she spent 3 weeks in the RDUH. Through out her journey on Abbey, Lowman and finally Okement wards the care was exemplary. Kind, caring and compassionate shone through all the staff. All the tests and results were quick to come through thanks to the EPIC system. The wards were cleaned thoroughly by the hard working domestic staff, always made the time to speak patients and worked well with all staff. I noticed nothing but respect throughout the teams. My mum's care was 2nd to none. Jo and her team on Okement, know there speciality, they understand their patients' woes and frustrations and are so supportive. Liver specialist nurses and doctors show their patients time and empathy.
Thank you so much to all the hard working staff at the RDUH.
