The nurse looking after my father, Alanna, has been fantastic. Her caring attitude and manner with the him and his family should be recognised and appreciated.

Thank you for your kind feedback about a member of our nursing team. The nurse that you identified is an experienced and valued member of our team. As part of her position in the ward Alanna not only cares for patients but teaches and assesses junior nursing staff and students. It is reassuring that her competence and confidence in caring for frail unwell patients has shone through.
At a time when hospital resources are stretched, positive feedback encourages the heart. I would like to reassure you that Alanna will be informed of this and I expect she will use this lovely feedback for the next time she revalidates her registration with the NMC body.
