"I called the Camhs crisis team"

About: Children & Young People Mental Health / Crisis Team

(as the patient),

I spoke to a lady who took time to listen and made me feel better when I was feeling low and stressed about going back to school. I was called back quickly and this helped me when normally I would have maybe got worse and needed to go to hospital or tried to run away like i normally do. Speaking to the crisis team made it different and I was able to calm down and I got some advice on how I could help myself at home: I enjoyed watching the videos that she told me about that were relaxing and helped to distract me from my thoughts.
