"Fantastic care by all staff"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / General surgery Grantham & District Hospital / pre-operative assessment

(as the patient),

I was booked into Grantham Hospital to have my gallbladder removed.

I arrived at 7.30am and from the moment I walked into the ward until the time I left I was looked after so well.

Everybody was so friendly but very professional. Everyone introduced themselves and explained each step as the day progressed.

They staff were all (without exception) amazing. I can only hope that this hospital gets reinstated to its previous position of fully staffed and fully funded thus eliminating the need to be transferred to other hospitals in many cases.

So grateful for all the care and the surgery, also the aftercare and the call the next day to check I was ok.

First class, my thanks to all involved in the general surgery department.

Dear Vezza

Thank you so much for taking the time to send this into Care Opinion – the morale of the staff is immediately raised when they receive positive feedback, so thank you for that.

I am so pleased to hear your experience was really good and I have shared with our Division as well with your comments about the hospital, I hope you are recovering well.

KR

Julie
