"What an amazing difference they are making each day"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Oncology

(as a service user),

I am having Chemotherapy for Prostate Cancer at the Ingham Suite and have recently just finished by 3rd cycle of 6. Having now experienced the Ingham suite on 3 occasions, I just wanted to share my what has happened and how I felt.

From reception, to the pre-assessment, to the volunteers who keep us fed and watered to my chemotherapy treatment on the ward, I have been extremely impressed with the entire team; professional, personable, compassionate, dedicated, caring, approachable, words cannot capture how good this team provides incredible care, living the trust values.

I know the NHS has its challenges and is not always appreciated for what it achieves every day. I just wanted to put into writing my experiences in a hope that the team can get the feedback and hear what an amazing difference they are making each day.
