About: St John's Hospital / Plastic Surgery & Burns

(as a relative),

My Nan was admitted to Ward 18 for plastic surgery.

The care she received was excellent from start to finish. 

I think she was cared for by every nurse in the ward and I can say wholeheartedly, I had no complaints whatsoever. 

Every nurse ensured my Nan was looked after to the highest standard and were able to keep up her spirits throughout with lots of jokes, stories and laughter. 

Staff were excellent with keeping up with communication throughout and ensured myself and family were always kept up to date on how she was. 

My Nan is now doing excellent and recovering well at home but she regularly talks about how excellent the care (and the food) was. 

Thanks again to everyone is Ward 18!

Hi Cetusmb79

Thank you for taking the time to write about your Nan and her experience in ward 18. I am glad to hear she is now home and doing well. I can only agree with her, we have a great kitchen and staff at St John's. Our staff meals are always lovely.
