"The wards"

Good morning,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how important it is to feel supported and engaged during your time on the ward. We are sorry if you felt isolated or unsupported, as this is not the experience we want for anyone in our care. We recognise the value of regular one-to-one sessions and will review how these are scheduled to make sure that patients have consistent opportunities to talk individually with staff if that’s what they would like as part of their rehabilitation journey. Whilst there isn’t a dedicated psychiatrist for the ward, there is always nursing staff available to talk to and referrals can be made as appropriate to external teams who are experienced in supporting people with mental health concerns. We will also make sure this process is explained more clearly to patients. We agree that activities play a key role in recovery and wellbeing. We will continue to review and expand our programme of therapeutic and social activities to encourage interaction, bonding, and focus. Your feedback is valuable and will be shared with the team to help us improve the care and experience we provide. We are committed to ensuring that all patients feel safe, supported, and actively engaged during their stay.
