"5/5 for medial meniscus surgery"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

By means of arthroscopy I received a partial medial meniscectomy and meniscus repair.

Immediately after surgery I felt good. Knee a little sore and stiff. Throat a little sore too from the procedure. But overall felt much better than I had anticipated. Felt quite good from the meds actually haha.

I didn’t speak to the surgeon after the operation. But I’m assured all went well. Anaesthetists were excellent in communicating the details and procedures and keeping my mind at ease.

Physiotherapists Olivia and Aran were excellent too with their help and advice when teaching me the procedures for rehabilitation. The nurse Becky too for the final instructions. In fact I give the staff 5/5 for patient care.
