"Breast cyst problem"

Having a breast cyst changing its shape and colour by the day and a history of breast cancer in the family, I would expect the NHS/my GP to take the problem seriously. I got an appointment in 2 weeks instead, during this period I’m supposed to go by with the pain of having clothes constantly scratching on my cyst. On top of that it’s a telephone appointment because apparently doctors only visit you by telephone now, before actually seeing you and checking physically what the problem might be.

This feels just ridiculous and an utter negligence towards real health problems. I decided thus to go private, given that trying to access NHS services feels like an impossible task and if you’re lucky you’ll get checked when the problem is already solved or worsen. 

For such a modern and developed country, I would expect a better healthcare system.
