"The care I received was fantastic"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Following some abnormal findings, I was recently called for an urgent colposcopy. I was anxious and extremely apprehensive about the appointment but the care I received was fantastic. Staff were patient, caring and understanding. My treatment was explained thoroughly and I felt an active participant in my care. A particular mention to the lovely Saffy who chatted to me throughout the procedure and offered me a hand hold if needed. I am pleased to say I have received my results and all is OK. The time from referral to being treated was phenomenal
