"Taught me to believe in myself"

About: Highbury Hospital / Rowan 1 Ward

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Highbury hospital and while I was there a number of staff helped me recover, including Rose the peer support worker who taught me to forgive and believe in myself, Kajsa who always made me laugh, Geraldine who got me out of my room and back into life and Andy who always provided the best company.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience of your stay on Rowan 1. Being admitted to hospital can be an extremely difficult time and I'm glad to hear that staff were able to support with your recovery.

I will make sure that this is fed back to the named staff so that they know they have made a difference.
