(as a service user),

I was brought into Abbey Ward with gallbladder inflammation and extreme pain.

From the moment I arrived on the ward I was welcomed, treated with kindness, professionalism and dignity.

All the staff I came into contact with introduced themselves and I was well looked after both pre and post operatively.

I was kept comfortable and pain-free during my stay and any queries or requests were dealt with promptly.

I spent a brief part of my stay on Otter Ward and also in recovery and I had positive experiences there also.

Thank you to all the staff for always being cheerful on your long busy working days. 

I felt so safe and cared for.
