"Breast Lump"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Breast care and breast surgery

(as the patient),

I would like to thank all the staff at the Breast Surgery Department at NDDH for making my recent visit to investigate a breast lump a much more relaxed experience than expected.

Mrs Conway, the Lead Clinician, explained everything clearly at the start and I found every section in the Department I visited - Ultrasound, Mammogram and finally Core biopsy with Kizzy and Heather who put me at ease from the start of the procedure to the end with some humour included.

Finally to Mrs Conway for explaining the procedures and what to expect next in the form of treatment. Thank you all again.

Dear Alice21,

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and share your experience—it really means a lot to the team. We’re delighted to hear that the experience felt more relaxed than you expected and that our team was able to help put you at ease. I’m also so pleased you felt well informed throughout.

I’ll be sure to share your kind words with those you mentioned, as well as the wider team who all played a part in your experience that day.

Thank you once again.

Warm wishes,

Amy Barrow, Clinical Nurse specialist Breast Care
