"The most caring, reassuring person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I recently had an appointment with doctor Curry and I can honestly say she’s the most caring, reassuring person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

I suffer from PTSD due to being gang raped, so going to these appointments are very triggering for me, but doctor Curry and her nurse made me feel at ease every step of my appointment.

I had a couple of panic attacks but with her reassurance and gentle approach we got through the appointment. Thankfully I didn’t need a biopsy at this stage and was told if I ever do in the future I can be put to sleep for it, at hearing those words I felt the the weight of the world had be lifted off my chest as I hadn’t slept for 2 nights on the lead up to my appointment.

Doctor Curry, I hope you see this and know that you’re an amazing person and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so caring and patient with me you make a difference in this world I won’t ever forget you.
