"Wisdom Tooth Coronectomy"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Oral Surgery - Level 3 and Level 4

(as the patient),

I attended the Department of Oral Surgery at the Glasgow Dental Hospital on 2 occasions, and both times the service and care I received was really excellent.

The check in at the reception was quick and polite. The waiting time didn't exceed 15 minutes. Once in the room I was talked through the whole procedure and options to choose from. All my questions were answered in detail making me feel much more comfortable and at ease. Both the surgeon and the nurse were very kind and informative all the way through, keeping me updated on what's going on and what to expect. I couldn't have asked for better care. I always feel a bit lightheaded after similar procedures but I was given plenty of time before heading out of the operation room. I was nervous the first time I went in, as I didn't know what to expect, but the second time I knew I will be in good hands and trusted the amazing surgeon fully! Thank you for your professionalism and outstanding care.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your kind feedback following your visits to the Department of Oral Surgery at Glasgow Dental Hospital.

We are absolutely delighted to hear that your experience was so positive on both occasions. It’s heartening to know that you found the care you received to be excellent, from the efficiency and courtesy of the reception team, to the professionalism and compassion shown by the clinical staff.

Your comments about feeling well-informed, reassured, and cared for throughout your treatment are greatly appreciated, and we’re particularly pleased that you felt comfortable and confident returning for your second visit. That trust is something we work hard to build and maintain with all our patients.

We will ensure your feedback is shared with the team involved in your care—they will be very pleased to hear how much their efforts meant to you.

Dear HappyPatient1109

Thank you very much for taking the time to tell us about the care you received during your surgery. It can be an anxious time for our patients and I know that our team understand how important it is to help patients feel relaxed and cared for. I am so pleased that your experience was so positive.
