In December 2024, I began to suffer from a manic episode which is associated with my bipolar disorder. This was a significant episode which led to hospitalisation. Following my admission, I was then under the care of the NMHT.
Both Ella (support worker) and Clare (CPN) went above and beyond to keep me out of hospital. Throughout their care, they have treated me in a non-judgemental and respectful manner.
Their extensive support allowed me to remain out of hospital. They have been flexible and accommodating, coming to visit my home, without which I wouldn’t have been able to access. I don’t feel I would have survived it without them.
