Anything else?
After having both CT and MRI scans in September, I felt the wait for an appointment date of Nov. 19th was insensitive. To hear on Friday that even this app`t. is cancelled is outrageous ! Surely , if the doctor is unavailable, a colleague could relay the results of the scans to me. If, as I suspect, the results are `insignificant` surely the doctor could send a letter as he did with the results for the nuclear bone scan. I am also concerned as on my last appointment with the doctor voiced the opinion that my hip was a `red herring` since the problem of my pain could well be spinal and his spine colleagues might be interested. So why were the MRI and CT scans yet again of my hip and not of my spine ?
I am in constant debilitating pain and only able to take paracetamol owing to the years on NSAID medication it took before an ulcer persuaded the doctor to operate on my hip. I am also very anxious to know the current cause of my pain. To be kept waiting any longer for feedback on the scans and further investigation/treatment is unforgiveable!
Please arrange an appointment asap.
