"Late for appointment"

About: Heavitree Hospital / Therapies

(as a service user),

I left home at 0750 for my appointment at 0830 but because of traffic, I  got to the hospital at 0845. The receptionist went to see the physio and they refused to see me and said make another appointment. I was disappointed as I only  needed to see them to say my arm was improving  and I would not need to see them again.

Dear Conty36,

I am sorry that you did not see the Physiotherapist on this occasion. Whilst the duration of your appointment would have been shorter, a review could have ben undertaken in this time.

I have followed this up with the Physiotherapy team and passed on your feedback.

Please contact the department to re-book this appointment if you have not already and we will be happy to see you again.

Best wishes for your ongoing recovery.

Natalie Chard
