My husband had a bad fall in May. He was i n a lot of pain. Very scary for me.
Taken to A and E Wcr Royal. Scanned and fractured pelvis diagnosed. Treated with multiple pain killers released after 3 weeks painfree but barely walking an wearing a catheter.
Since his return home we have recd an abundance of help from every possible source in NHS.
He had been diagnosed with PSP in the last 12 months and referred to various sources of help from appliances to district nurses, physiotherapy and lately Adult Speech and Language Therapy. Jane rang to arrange a Home Visit and spent quite a time with us getting my husband to drink coffee which was making hom cough. She advised many things which would assist him including products and methods which were very useful and reassuring.
While we know they are very busy they still corresponded with us and found time foe the home visit. We can only say a big thank you for doing the best you can and certainly looking after my husband so well.
