(as the patient),

What always seems like a dread, I had my 5 yearly appointment at Hospital Hill surgery in Dunfermline for my Cervical Smear Test. 

As most woman probably agree it is not the nicest of days to look forward to.  I would like to thank Nurse Julie, who was carrying out the procedure and was very professional, caring & reassuring. 

Nurse Julie could see I was a bit anxious and her easy going nature and kindness really helped me relax. 

I won't say I look forward to the next Cervical Smear test with anticipation, however Nurse Julie and her professionalism has certainly made me feel less apprehensive about any future tests.
