"Sonographer was excellent at explaining what she was doing"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Maternity

(as a service user),

We were seen for our first antenatal scan at 12 weeks.

The booking in process was swift, and I was taken straight through for my height and weight. There was a short wait in the pleasant waiting area prior to being called in for the scan. Our sonographer, Jo was excellent at explaining what she was doing at the same time as being efficient in her examination.

Once the scan was done, I was very quickly called in for my bloods to be done. This was also a very efficient process, and could not have been improved.

Dear Joyster

Thankyou so much for taking the time to send us this great feedback. It is really great to hear that you found the service to be efficient and wait times were short and the area comfortable.

I will ensure Jo and the rest of the team get this great feedback about how well informed she made you feel and how efficient she was.

We hope your pregnancy goes well and that the rest of your care with us continues to be as positive.

Thanks
