"Fantastic help and very reassuring"

About: Urgent Community Response / Urgent Community Response (South)

(as a service user),

I felt really at my wits end to get some help. My surgery wasn’t very forthcoming and I was desperate. The receptionist at the surgery gave me a number to ring for Adult care.

After ringing number and speaking to a really lovely lady she assured me help was there and we were entitled to it. I immediately felt lifted and from then on help has been very forthcoming. Two hours after the initial phone conversation a lady from the Urgent Response team came. Her help was fantastic and very reassuring. I would like to thank everyone involved it has been very uplifting.
