Excellent care

About: Princess of Wales Community Hospital / Cottage Ward

Everything has been excellent. When I arrived I was really ill. All the staff were so kind and caring and treated me as me. 

The ward is very warm but when I told staff I was too hot they found me a fan to help.

The food has been excellent. The choice is very good and there are lots of delicious things to pick from. 

Visiting times can be a little awkward. My daughter doesn't finish work until at least 6 so by the time she arrives it is too late. It would be good if they could visit until 8.30.

Thank you for your kind words and that you are enjoying your hospital stay. I'm sorry to hear that your Daughter does not get to visit you for long. Its always important to speak with the nurse in charge regarding visiting as we can make allowance and we feel its really important for family to visit.
