"Mental Health Journey"

My feedback is 100 per cent positive for the Cantilupe ward and the Electro Convulsive Therapy team.  I cannot speak highly enough of both.  I was admitted late July following a stint in a nursing home and time spent with family.  I had lost over 3 stones in weight, was not eating, was depressed and lost my way.  I was sectioned under the care act and took to Herefordshire hospital.  I was at my lowest ebb after my wife had passed away a few months earlier.  All my family was concerned and worried about me.  But thanks to the care of these services after five weeks I have gained weight, am eating properly and had the section removed.  I am now back at home and give the care I received 10 out of 10. 

The staff all went above and beyond and we as a family are all grateful.  I have two lots of care keeping an eye on me and helping from the Help at Home team.  I would like to thank all the staff who gave me time to recover and a special mention for Julie who was on holiday when I was discharged but has since rang me personally to wish me well.  Thank you all so much.
