"Centre the care around the patient"

About: Princess of Wales Community Hospital / Primrose Unit

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

The staff at Primrose Unit are very good and centre the care around the patient.

Medication is given when the patient needs it, instead of prescribed ward round times and amounts like other wards. They have less patients so staff can really focus on the needs of the individual and their families, and are around when you need them.

They keep me informed of my husbands care and needs during this difficult time, and I am allowed to visit when I want.

We have no suggestions for improvements - just thanks.

Thankyou for lovely feedback on the care and support that you and your Husband feel you have received. It is always good to hear the impact that the care provided on the unit is making a difference
